Animals need help. Your will can change their lives.
Dear Friend,
56% of Americans have not created any estate planning documents. Without these, you may miss a valuable opportunity to protect your loved ones and establish a legacy that supports the causes you care most about. To celebrate National Make-A-Will Month, I’d like to invite you to download our guide to planned giving here and to work with your legal and/or financial advisor to make sure that your legacy saves and protects animals for many years to come. Many compassionate people like you have taken action to benefit countless animals this way. We’re here to let you know that you can, too.
Longtime AAVS member Ramona Kunkel contributes her time and extensive experience at a guinea pig rescue and her local animal shelter. “I’m very picky about where I give my money,” Ramona told us, “which shows how much I believe in the good work that AAVS does.” Ramona’s commitment extends to the inclusion of AAVS in her estate planning as the beneficiary of a Roth IRA, variable annuity, and mutual fund account. We could not be happier to have such a dedicated ally and compassionate animal advocate on our side.
Estate planning can ensure your wishes are fulfilled and prevent conflict among beneficiaries. Wills, trusts, and beneficiary designations show your loved ones you care and demonstrate your commitment to your charitable endeavors.
Protect animal victims of experimentation with your legacy and join the Caroline Earle White Society, which recognizes people who include AAVS in their wills or estate plans. Hundreds of compassionate people have helped countless animals by naming AAVS in their wills. You can, too.
If you would like to discuss how you can make a legacy to help eradicate the use of animals in research, please do not hesitate to contact me at lklein@aavs.org or 215-887-0816.
For the Animals,
Luke Klein
President
