TODAY – act to help dogs in Michigan!

An important bill that could spare dogs from pain and suffering in labs is currently being considered in the Michigan legislature. Named after a dog who suffered in cardiology experiments and died at Wayne State University, Queenie’s Law (HB 4849) would prohibit painful experiments at publicly funded institutions in Michigan.

Although animal research data are not reliably applicable to human conditions, the experiments conducted on Queenie have gone on for 30 years.

While Queenie’s Law has great public support, pro-animal research groups have voiced opposition, so it’s important that all Michigan residents take action. This bill could be voted on anytime, so act today!
