Following Up after TAFA
Hi!
It was great to see everyone at this year’s Taking Action for Animals (TAFA) conference! I hope you had an opportunity to stop by the American Anti-Vivisection Society’s booth and sign our petition to the Food and Drug Administration demanding that it not test sunscreen ingredients on animals.
AAVS is a leader in the fight to end animal testing, and our important work would not be possible without the dedication and support of people like you. We work with a diverse group of advocates, insiders, and scientists to maximize our effectiveness to make meaningful, lasting change.
Here are 1-2-3 easy things you can do to stay connected with AAVS and help end the use of animals in science:
- Know the Facts: Sign up to receive AAVS e-mails, with unique news and expert views. You’ll hear about primate sanctuaries, alternatives that replace animals in science, and everything in-between.
- Take Action: After subscribing, you’ll receive alerts that will help you make a difference for animals in labs. Today, you can urge the National Institutes of Health to retire a group of chimpanzees in New Mexico to the Chimp Haven sanctuary, as required by law.
- Share AAVS resources and tools: Make sure that your friends and family know that AAVS can help them choose cruelty-free products and ensure that children don’t have to dissect animals in classrooms. Forward AAVS e-mails, action alerts, and post info on your social media, too. It’s a quick and easy way to advocate for animals!
We look forward to working with you on our mission of ending the use of animals in research, testing, and education.
Thank you for supporting the work of AAVS!
